So, I'm OOS and I applied for housing right after I got in, in mid-march. I originally put four halls down that looked the most appealing to me, not realizing that I may not get these halls. I was wondering can I go back to my housing application and change it even if it has been submitted and paid. My housing number is 5046 so would it give me a new number. I'll be happy at any dorm, so I just want to get into one. I figure if I apply to the dorms that many students do not choose it may get me into one. Any input on housing and my problem would be great. Thanks.

You can go back in and change the dorms up until the time they take the info offline. You do not get a new number or anything. They don’t download the choices until they are ready to make assignments. So go for it. Just sign back on and change it. Your number stays the same. You can go back in 20 times and change it. I think you will be OK getting into a dorm. If there is a dorm room available when they get to you, you will get a dorm.
