Hi,
The Commonapp asks for my GPA
The thing is, I live in France, and we don't have such thing as the GPA. We only have grades, and they go from 0/20 to 20/20. Also, we don't keep them from one year to another. The only things that matters is the grades you got during the current school year.

hey sorry for the late answer…
I don’t think you should convert your grades to GPA.
Contact the school and ask them if you need to convert it but I doubt you have to.
French grades are very different than the GPA. You should keep it as it is or maybe it wont do your grade justice and it could be either a disadvantage or an advantage depending on what you got.

French grades are really different.
On a 0 to 20 scale, a GPA of 16 is outstanding (In an average high school, there’s only 1 student who get that). A GPA of 20 is so rare that if you get it, you’re invited to meet the president (yes, the actual President of the French Republic)
My GPA is somewhere between 13 and 15.
