How can I delete a thread?

So…I posted my college essay as my first thread to see if people could read and rate it without realizing I couldn’t delete it after. It’s a very personal essay, and I didn’t mean for it to stay on this website forever.

How can I come in contact with a moderator or someone that will allow me to at least edit the thread so I can delete that essay?

I also just realized that it would get me in some trouble if I leave that essay online and then submit it to colleges…they might find it and think it’s copyright.
