In terms of drilling, you need to do by section and whole test sessions. In each case adhere strictly to the time limits (use an alarm system). As you go through the test, tick any questions you had difficulty with or guessed. For section review, immediately review your answers against the key to see where the errors were. For questions you had ticked, pay careful attention to how the answer was derived whether or not you got it right. Then immediately take another section test for that subject to see if there is any improvement or if you are having the same issues.
Whole test practices would be done less frequently, maybe once a month to once a week or more depending on the actual test cycle (increase whole test frequency as you get closer to the actual test date). If you can get access to a school classroom or another setting away from home, do it. The idea is to replicate the environment in which the test will be given.
It’s important to pace and schedule your drilling, especially if this is “do it yourself”. I think cramming is less productive than a regular purposeful schedule. I do think the intensity of prep should increase as you get to the test date, especially whole test prep. Take the day before the test day off. Make sure you are rested.
