<p>Hi everyone</p>
<p>i am really worried about my senior year grades...I take all AP classes and received mostly Bs and Cs...during the fall semester
i was raised by my single mother, with no financial support from anyone else, she lost her job because of the economy this year (she is working now) Because of this along with other various things, we fought alot and I was in a very depressed and terrible status, maybe like a breakdown. I know it's useless to explain since many other people did much better than me under much worse conditions, but it just became this way...</p>
<p>I came to U.S five years ago, refused ESL program and started taking all AP and honor level courses during my junior year, my GPA is not 4.0 but was moving up by the years. Then comes the senior year and....yeah..:-(</p>
<p>i was wondering if i can write an explanation about my grade shifts in the application? can i write about this event under the "additional information" in common app ?</p>
