As of now, I've taken the SAT one entire time and can score about a 1900. On the real exam my CR was 600, Math 630, Writing 670. I'm looking to have a 2100 by this october. Any advice on how many sections to do, what book, etc. would help. Usually I can score above a 650 on math but on the test day some questions caught me off guard. CR seems to be giving me a problem, I usually get 9 vocab wrong alone. Writing is my highest; I'm very comfortable with the essay and can score a 10-11, and I get some MC wrong to lower the score. Thanks in advance :)!

Take many many many practice tests.

I’m in a similar situation. I got 1930 on last practice test (690M 710W 530CR).
I’m mow practicing a lot of CR sections + I’ve just bought 500 vocabulary flashcards (I’m international) and barron’s CR workbook.

First, you have to be motivated!! YEAH!! now that you’re motivated, go to a bookstore or library and buy or borrow the Blue Book and Barrons or Kaplan Math work book, now study the hell out of that math book and sooner than later your score will have magically risen above 700, that takes care of math, CR-get used to the long reading passage and get a system of how you find the answer , literally memorize the dictionary, well actually you can just use flashcards instead(in fact, if you practice enough, when you take the October SAT’s the answers will pop out and catch your attention, cuz all CR sections are like completely the same type of Q’s and A’s) Do that and your CR score will magically have risen above 700, that takes care of CR. Writing- sounds like you are on the right track, essay is just about practice and time management (AKA making a generic 5 paragraph essay structure which you can just plug in the info, is the eaasiest way to get an 11 or 12, although it sounds like you’re pretty good at essays already), multiple choice questions are ‘killers (aren’t they?), hmm they are pretty tricky if you haven’'t spent much time practicing, so just review the basic grammer rules (such as idioms and parallism) and practice practice practice. That takes care of your going to be 700+ Writing score. Vwaa-laaaa!! you now will have 3 sections all over 700’s, that takes care of your SAT (2100) goal. now it was really easy for me to write this in like 2 min. but it’ll be alot more difficult spending the time on this. REMEMBER, think “2100”, eat “2100”, sleep “2100”, stay ,motivated and you can definetly reach this goal.

P.S. (this is a secret, just between you and me) I think you can reach 2200+ if you do all that ^ ;D

Thanks guys :D. Special thanks to JCHWANG, ur post motivated me >:D!!! Imm gnna tear apart the October exam (not literally; it’d b a waste of cash if i did that >.>)

LOVE YOUR POST JCHWANG. I’m going to crush the January SAT.
