How can I get an internship in Chemical Engineering as a sophomore?

<p>How possible is it to get an internship in ChemE as a sophomore (international with 3.9 GPA at a top school?)</p>

<p>What courses should I take to make sure that I have enough experience to be accepted? Do I need to know programming to get an internship in ChemE? Should I apply to top or non-famous corporations ?</p>

<p>Just apply. What I’ve heard is that how much you can do really does not matter much. What’s more important is the willingness to learn. Interns are not expected to be at a level of a graduate with experience. I believe your willingness and enthusiasm is the best bet at the interviews.</p>
