How can I get in UT Computer Science??

So I was accepted to UT but not to my major, which was Computer Science. I will probably have to major in Undergraduate Studies Undeclared and try to internally transfer. My question is what all exactly should I do to boost my chances of internally transferring? Take required classes for CS major? Get CS certifications? Do projects? Are there any CS clubs that a non CS major could get into to learn from people instead of just buying books?

Also before anyone says anything, I really, really want to be at UT. So going to a different university is my last resort if nothing happens in my first 4 semesters.

Any advice, knowledge, or help on this would be greatly appreciated!

In my opinion, UTD’s CS program is very good and you will actually be able to take CS classes. UT’s CS is notoriously hard to transfer into, and as a non-CS major, it will be difficult to get entry-level CS classes. I would not recommend going to UT undeclared if CS if your passion.

Would you rather go to UT and major in something else, or major in CS elsewhere?
You could always do an Hci/Ux minor in the school of information technology at UT plus a CS minor and any major.
