I was rejected from Brown Unvi. this month. I understand it is a bit early to think about transferring. However I should be able to classify as a soph. after my 1st semester. I am a high school student with a moderate high school U.W g.p.a of 3.66. I was ranked 9/145, and I was in the top 6% of my graduating class. I also had a 660 on the cr, 670 on the math, and a 550 on the writing. I plan on retaking them to get higher than a 2100. With my high school I already took 5 college courses. I had all a's in these courses. The courses I will transfer are Calc 1, Calc 2, E110, and Intro to Comm. I will be attending Uconn, and I will take Calc 3, E117, Intro Bio, and Intro Chem. Then in the second semester I will take Bio2, Chem2, Intro to Stat, and Intro to Spanish. Should I take more challenging courses? Also I plan on volunteering in the local shelter, participating in their intramurals, continuing my job in the pharmacy, and running for student senate. Any help would be appreciated. THANKS truly for reading through all this.

pretty good. (I would just let the SATs go because you have other things you can excel in; they are just high school standardized test scores once you graduate). but, i'm pretty sure you will get in next year :)

A lot depends on your college grades and your essays. I was accepted as a transfer to Brown last year. If you have any questions, please let me know!

And by the way, Brown only does spring admissions, so it wouldn't matter that you'd be a sophomore
