How can i get my score up

I just found out that i need at least a 26 on my act to get into the university i wish to attened.
i dont want to go to any other university, how on earth am i going to get it that high, on average people get about a 22-24
how can i improve my score??

Practice! Practice! Practice! There is really no other way to go around it… Learn the stuff you need to know for english and math. Learn strategies for reading and science…
With all honesty, a 26 is not the difficult.

Take practice tests and consider getting a really good tutor if you can find one. People at my school were obsessed with a book of act tricks called ACT Black Book, so you may want to look for that for getting some quick points as well, seemed to work for a lot of people. For practice tests, try the ‘Real ACT’ and ‘1296 Questions’ those are solid practice tests that will get you prepared. As for the tutor, make sure you find one that comes highly recommended, otherwise they probably aren’t worth the chedddda.

keep on practicing. i got a 29 my first time without studying. i studied a month before the test and got a 33… then i studied throughout the summer and got a perfect 36. you just need to take a lot of tests since it’s a matter of time.

Find the kind of test prep that’s right for you - for some people, that’s taking a class that meets once or twice a week. For others, it’s simply doing a quick refresher class that will give you some strategies. Or you can always get books from the library or book store and do it on your own. (Or maybe some combination of these three.) You get the picture…raising your score a few points is not at all out of the realm of possibility. Good luck!
