I'm a HS senior applying to college, and I desperately need a second teacher recommendation. I already have one from my biology teacher, and I'm pretty sure she'll write me a very strong rec.

However, I do need one more, and there's really nobody for me to ask. I've burned a lot of bridges the past few years, because I've had a lot of personal issues and I didn't know how to handle all the stress and pressure, resulting in my making some bad decisions (i.e. skipping class, not doing homework).

There is one teacher that might write a decent recommendation for me if she were willing to. I had her in 9th grade for chemistry and a semester in 11th grade for another chemistry class, and I also have her again this year.

The thing is, that in the beginning of the year, she said that she only had 15 slots left, and that she wanted to reserve those for people who have done things outside of the classroom with her. I've never done anything outside of the classroom with her...

but I honestly have no one else to to turn to.
Please help me. I'm very afraid that she'll say no, when I ask her. How do I get her to say yes?

I plan on presenting her with a letter and resume/list of accomplishments and activities when I ask, which is what she would expect. What do I do to make sure she says yes?
