I recently took a practice test and got 35s in both science and math. However, I didnt even bother scoring the reading section. I had such a hard time reading it, and couldnt even get to the fourth passage. I have a month left from the ACT, is it realistic to be able to get a 30 in the reading section?

I got a 34 on the reading, and the key is reading at the speed of sound without losing focus. The questions are super straightforward.

Unless you have been reading you whole life as a hobby, it is difficult to improve you reading speed in that short of a time span. I would suggest you keep doing reading sections for practice. Focus on accuracy though. There is no point getting to the last passage if you missed a bunch along the way.
