How can I improve my 1510 to >2000

The advice you are receiving, although may have helped that person, may not be the BEST advice out there. This is my opinion.

First and foremost, get the Collegeboard Blue book. Second, read through http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/955109-silverturtles-guide-sat-admissions-success.html</a></p>

MATH
Get Gruber’s Math Workbook. This should bump your score up to a 650+. Also practice from the practice tests in the Blue Book.

WRITING
Read through [SAT: Improve SAT Score with SparkNotes: Introduction](<a href=“SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides”>SparkNotes: Today's Most Popular Study Guides)

CRITICAL READING
Using silverturtle’s guide should help. Do Practice sections in the Blue Book.

MOST IMPORTANT THING OF ALL: REVIEW EACH AND EVERY ANSWER, RIGHT OR WRONG. Limit yourself to 3 sections a day, so your brain continues to work efficiently. Take a full length practice test every 2 weeks. I think you can achieve your goal, if you stay determined.
