I take my SAT in July next year. However, I do the IB program so my schedule is extremely busy.

I have worked through the Kaplan 12 tests and my highest score was 2020. My mathematics is good, but critical reading is about 590. I have recently done the real bluebook paper and got 1890 (left out 11 questions because I couldn't finish it on time).

How can I improve my critical reading? Do you think that a good vocab is the only solution?

Please share you story and advice with me : D

I agree with AltoLime on that. Direct Hits is boss in matters of vocab. So, do it. If you have an iphone or a samsung, you can download the quizlet app and keep doing words whenever. Make a quizlet account online and try to get into one of the Direct Hits classes which have all the Direct Hits chapters in them or just buy the book.
Try rocket review and noirata perp for reading passages. They are both good. Make sure you don’t give up on the method after just 5 or 6 practice tests. Try each for 10 and see how it works out.
