I am concerned about being accepted into UF's Sports Management program. I will be starting my application soon for the Fall 2014 semester. I would like to know what I can do to improve my changes of getting in. I will obtain my AA after the upcoming spring semester.
I have done community service hours, but I fear that will not be enough.
I have a 3.9 GPA. The UF website recommends that I include my work experience within the field, however at 17, I can't imagine what experience I can have within the field.

Thanks for the help! :)

Are you graduation from HS with an AA and applying to UF? If so you apply using the freshman application. You must apply to a specific UF college and major, and you must meet college and major prerequisite course and minimum GPA requirements.

As a freshman app, you’ll need all of the things a normal freshman needs, GPA, Class rigor, SAT/ACT test score, EC’s, Essay, any leadership experience…Good Luck!

I graduated from high school this past June with almost a year of college credits completed. (Dual-credit) I am currently a full time sophomore at Santa Fe College.

Excellent! If you’re CC GPA is 3.9, then you have an great chance of being accepted to UF. Make sure you’ve completed your major’s prerequisite course, and you should’nt have any problems.

Good Luck!

I certainly hope I get in.
Thank you for the feedback.
