How can I perfect each section?

I make 1-2 errors on each section on the SAT that are usually due to careless mistakes. Is there anyway I can prevent this or is it luck/practice from here on out?

I have about two weeks to prepare so any advice would be helpful...

Honestly, just practice being REALLY careful and for math questions try to use a different method when checking your answer than you used to solve the question. For me, it really helped to practice for speed, which enabled me to check through the entire section slowly after I finished, but for others, this strategy might cause them to make even more careless mistakes. Maybe try going relatively quickly so you have time to check it over and then try going slowly and carefully and see what works better for you?

Oh and also, after you pick the answer, go back to the question to make sure that’s the answer they’re looking for.

Why bother? One or two wrong would be a great score. Also consider that the amount of study and practice that it would take to likely get a perfect score just might exceed the hours put in to date.

1-2 per section can make a difference of over 100 points and the curves this year really haven’t been generous.

Um, a 2300 isn’t a bad score. Why are you getting the questions wrong? Are they because you didn’t know how to do it (e.g. unknown vocabulary word)? Is it because the test makers tricked you (e.g. you missed the error in “The audience packed with teenagers laughed their heads off at the play”)? Or is it because you made a truly careless mistake (e.g. you mis-bubbled or added two and two to get five)?

Figure out which one is causing the errors, and try to fix it.
