It costs me $.25 per page at my school to print. I want to print out some PDF's that are around 200 pages longs. How can I do this for free? I dont want to buy a printer. Any ideas? Is there any way to print stuff in this world for free?

1) Public Library -- usually 5 to 10 cents per page

2) Approach the Media Center supervisor and ask if you can get a "bulk" deal.

3) Friend's printer. Just pay them back for the paper/ink... probably like $10.

I want to do it for free. It is 10 cents a page at my library. That is 40 dollars when all is said and done.

I go to UConn. I am sure no "bulk deals" will be offered. They are evil nazis who would celebrate if they found out I was struggling to print some documents.

I have no friends thus this is not possible.

use Kinko's or Procopy or something. it's cheaper. Or come to Duke which has free printing (jk) haha

I don't think you'll find a free way. Though I could be wrong.

Unless you find a friend or get your own, you're going to have to pay.

Step 1) Enter into a random office building in suit and tie.
Step 2) Tell secretary you work on 3rd floor and need to borrow her computer real quick.
Step 3) Insert USB stick into her computer and print your docs.
Step 4) ????
Step 5) Profit!

^ LOL OWNED, I love it.

Or you can steal all the paper from the printers and tell them you'll only give em back if they let print for free.

wow, how long did it take you?

Anything to procrastinate.

= P

Here is some tips I can offer you; sometimes when my friend, a undergrad, is running late and needs to print something out; he just go the graduate student lounge and make up some random excuse. Stuff like, "I am running an errand for professor John Doe", "The printer in the other graduate student louge is not working properly"...

It seems to work out fine for him.

But there is free printing available at almost every campus. I live next to colleges my whole life and there is always a small office somewhere.

I would recommend trying,

Your school's research centers and ask them. Generally, research centers have a huge print quota and they don't really care who use their printers.

Try your school's design labs. We have an art department here and their printing charge is 10 times cheaper.

Ask your professor if it is class-related. I definitely have done that before and the professors doesn't really mind that much.

go to the individual departments of local universities. SOME of them have free printers for use for their majors (but they don't bar access to non-majors).

or sneak up into a frat or house (that allows free printing)

if azia kim can do it, SO CAN YOU

rockermcr, wouldn't it be more efficient to sell the flying hippo for $100 billion and use part of that money to print? There's a pretty good chance that the hippo would destroy all the equipment in the kinko's, anyway.

Flying hippos aren't worth that much, and they are very tame and obedient creatures.

Or just have one of your parents print your stuff out ten pages at a time at their office.

Everyone has parents who work at an office? Interesting.

rockermcr, i am not 99 percent certain the answer to your question is, "no". however, there is a margin of error.......

well, this is CC.
