I am self-studying the exam (it will not be different even if I take the class, the teachers at my school are EXTREMELY ineffective) and received the textbook since beginning of the year. But here are my questions:
1. Do I just need to memorize the definition from the textbook?
2. Ap gov't is just a memorization test, right???
3. For those of you who scored a 5, can you please tell me your prepping strategies? What do I EXACTLY need to do in order to get a 5?? Listing out steps will be great! :)
Thanks a lot! God Bless you!

Get a review book, check out CC for the best one. I think it was a combination of 5 steps to a 5, and princeton review? I took it sophomore year and got a 5. I’m assuming you’ll ace the class, but following along with an AP book will help for chapter exams. FRQs imo are easier than MC. You have to know how things work together and have a general grasp on government. It’s not as much pure memorization as say, AP Psych. Nonetheless, know the terms well.

How well do you have to know specific cases for this test? My teacher is renowned for not really preparing us for the AP exam very well. I got perfect scores on EoC and Constitution Test but how in-depth does AP go in with the cases?

Thanks
