Hi, I'm a freshman in high school. I don't have much EC's, but I currently have all A's. As of right now, I am I am in two clubs that I am very passionate about. One of them involves volunteer work and the other involves projects and competitions. I am planning to stay in the clubs for all four years, and hopefully, work my way to becoming President of the clubs. I am also planning to join tennis next year, which is my favorite sport. Since I am a freshman, I do not have many achievements, but a few weeks ago, in a math competition, I received third place. In middle school, I have been Student of the Year. Besides that, I do not have anything that can really make me "stand out" in a college application. This is where I need your advice/tips/help. What should I do now, so when I'm a senior, I have a better chance into getting accepted into a university?

It sounds like your extracurricular involvement is doing well; sticking with a couple clubs and a sport while pursuing them passionately is a good set-up.

Really, on top of studying and doing well in class, you just have to do what you love. Find something you’re passionate about and pursue it as far as you can.

I posted an advice thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/admissions-hindsight-lessons-learned/1099647-billymc-s-advice-future-applicants.html

Maybe it will help you.
