I'm a rising Senior, music major.
I have some pretty high ambitions for the schools I want to go to, but I've always been insecure about my ECs because I feel like they're very weak and I want to come across as a well-rounded, hard working applicant. Here are my ECs:

Diversity Club and GSA, 9th grade (moved schools during 2nd semester)

Choir 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th

Advanced choir 12th

Community theater 9th, 10th, 11th

Theater in-school 11th, 12th

Thespian Club/inducted thespian

LINK Leader 11th

Key Club 11th, 12th (secretary 12th)

Private voice and theory lessons 11th, 12th

Probably going to join another club next year - maybe Amnesty International or Community Relations, not sure

How bad are my ECs so far? How can I make them stronger? I'm pretty insecure about only having one real leadership position and it's only secretary :( Also, does the amount of hours of community service I have count - and if so, how many should I aim for?

Your clubs are fine. I would take a few more for Senior year, and you should be fine. Community service doesn’t matter a lot depending on your major. Since you want to major in music, I would maybe volunteer at the local music store, or something like that.

@tacoperson123 Thanks for the advice. There are no music stores in my town but there are a couple in the genearl area…only problem is that I’m not sure how to volunteer or work at one, and I’m not sure if I could, since most of them are also very big on smoking/drug paraphernalia and I’m a minor.

Can you volunteer at a local hospital or anything? Volunteering really gets you noticed.

you can volunteer by teaching music lessons to underprivileged kids in nearby schools.

This is all good advice, but I don’t really know how to get started on something like that. Key Club is a volunteering club, it’s not music-related though. As for teaching music lessons, I don’t play any instruments confidently enough to do so, but I do sing - not sure how that would come in handy?

there’s a program through one of our local youth orchestras like that and you teach underprivileged kids on your instrument. So in your case, it’d be voice. Im sure, there might be some local elementary or middle school students who would love the help. Again, it’s just a suggestion.
