i do failry well on the writing sections in the blue book, usually msising 1 or two questions per test

but usually, the mistakes i make are on questions involving idiomatic expressions, like knowing that you should say "prefer x over y" instead of "prefer x more than y"

is there any website/book that has a compilation of these little grammar rules?

by the way, i am pretty much set in terms of parallellism, ver/adverb/noun/pronoun etc... agreement and most of the other things, but it wouldn't hurt to mention some good resources for learning those either

memorize memorize memorize
(Barron's has a list)

but idioms don't show up as much as pronouns, verbs, or others on the test and if you're a native speaker, chances are that you'll be able to recognize some funky wordings.

I think reading a lot would help... it's the sort of thing you develop an eye for. Also, this isn't related to studying, but if you say the phrase to yourself, you might hear the wrong idiom more easily than see it.
