<p>Yea so i have applied early to both Cornell and uMich which have nov 1st deadlines. I also took the ACT in oct and the scores came out yesterday on the 9th (i made a note about this on my app). I had previouisly requested that the scores were sent when they came out. How do i check if the colleges have recieved my scores?</p>
<p>Also my teachers are mailing my recs in. If they are recieved, will it show up on the common app website?</p>

<p>For the SAT scores you would have to do a status check online on your college website(if available) or call your admissions office. For University of Miami, they updated their site when they received the things. So you might need to contact your admissions office.</p>
<p>For the common app, I am not 100% sure but I believe it would just say that it is mailed in and the teacher opted out due to the fact that you are just mailing it to the college and common app is not really involved unless the college reports to the common app, which is highly unlikely. So for this, call in your admissions office to check too.</p>
<p>if the college deadline is january 1st, does that mean the test score has to be SENT OUT on that date???
but then i was thinking if the writing comes out two weeks after, wouldnt it be too late???
