How can I turn my turning around in senior year into the best application possible?

So exiting Junior year my unweighted gpa is 82.69, my extracurriculars are OK, in my opinion and my ACT super score is a 34. I’ve begun to get my stuff together and currently am averaging about a 95-96 this quarter so far but there’s still about 20 days or so until the quarter ends and so there’s room for poor project/quiz/test grades to impact my score. I’m also retaking the ACT next Saturday. This year I am taking AP Enviro, AP Calc AB, AP CS, and AP Macroeconomics as well as psych & lit (half year course) and Spanish 1. And then a different English half year course in the spring.

My question is pretty much how can I make my application the best it can possibly be and get into the best school I possibly can by making the most of what I will have to offer now. I mean this in that I feel like with my Senior year grades and ACT score and potentially my essay and/or supplements I can show immense growth and potential to colleges and maybe sort of say I’ve finally gotten my act together.

Someone also told me I should write about my struggles with procrastination caused by ADHD and how it affected my school life in relation to i guess my years in high school and put that separate essay or paragraph or whatever into the additional writing section on the common app. not sure if it’s worth doing that (?)

On another note, as my grades are poor, you can assume my reccs are pretty crap too and so currently I have one from my pre-calc teacher from 11th grade whose class I got an 82 in. I don’t know if I have a second one right now so I don’t even know if I will be able to have any decent app for early applications but I have two prospects and one is my 10th grade ECS teacher whose class I got a 76 in which was purely because of missing deadlines and such and being unaccountable of myself. The other is my current CS teacher who I took intro to java last year with and finished with an 85 but mainly because the 4th quarter was pass or fail and I submitted 2 of the 3 or 4 projects for the entire 4th quarter on the last day of the quarter so he says he doesn’t think he should write it and I haven’t touched base with the ECS teacher yet because he was contact by my guidance counselor who was trying to help me get a second one.

if none of those work out, I guess I can get a recc from a senior teacher this year but it’s been hard to build a strong relationship when half the time is spent on zoom and the other half socially distanced in class with masks on.

*My school has been doing a hybrid model for school that was 33% up until October 8th and we are now in 50% so half of the school goes in in the morning and half in the afternoon and then they switch

thank you to anyone who gives any reply I am really looking for any advice / help I can get

Do the best you can. Don’t really think taking the Act again is the driver here but if you want to then go for it. So your a B student with lots of potential. That’s awesome. Don’t write about your add struggles. The readers will read thousands of those and how does that set you apart? It doesn’t.

Write about something that is unique to you. What school wants a kid that procrastinates? Sure we all do but why put yourself down. Think of things that lift you up.

Also a rec from a teacher has nothing to do about the grade you got in the class. So a rec from a teacher that you got a B in the class but they can state how hard you worked is an awesome rec BTW.

Have your counselor write a note about your Adhd and your struggles not you. Do you have accomadations and are you using them? You want a school that can support you well also.

Get this book. It has a chapter with your name on it… Lol. It is tips on what and how to study. It works and kinda fun. Do it to get ready for college.

One option would be to plan now for a gap year, and use this senior year to truly keep your grades up. Then when you apply to college you will have that good year completely on record.
