how can some people have an unweighted gpa above a 4.0?

how is that even possible?

whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…weird

some schools take an A+ as a 4.3, even unweighted. That’s how my school does it.

for those whose school doesn’t do that, how does it work? Is an A- a 3.7, or is still a 4.0?

bs… our school has A- as 3.66 but A+=A=4.00

My school has an A+ as a 4.5 unweighted.

Some schools will do A-=3.7, A=4.0, A+=4.3

Some schools - and many colleges - put a cap at 4.0, A-=3.7, A=4.0, A+=4.0

At my son’s HS pluses and minuses aren’t counted for UW GPA. A+, A, A- are all 4, B+, B, B- are all 3 etc. My son’s school doesn’t weight in any manner either.

My school does A+ as a 4.4, A as a 4.0, A- as a 3.7, etc.

At my school they don’t even calculate GPAs. We just get our average out of 100.

As has been said, some schools consider an A+ a 4.33.

I do, but that is because my school = dumb. :P
