How can we tell which instructor is teaching the class?

I'm looking at the schedule of classes for fall and summer. I noticed that a lot of the instructor fields are left blank. I'd like to know who is teaching which class. Is there any way for me to get this information?

Also, what is a good prof rating site for Cal?

The ones that are blank probably also have DIS in the title and a limit of about 30, these are discussions with GSIs(graduate student instructors) and it just depends on which graduate students like the professor of the main LEC class.

I actually meant the ones with LEC in the title.

Why don't you give us some specifics so we can actually be helpful.

Call/e-mail that department if you can't find who's teaching it anywhere online.

EECS professors have HKN ratings on hkn.berkeley.edu which are highly accurate; otherwise I would look up the professor at ratemyprofessors.com.

I think that when I checked it 2-3 weeks ago...the LEC's instructor was labelled The Staff, but the instructors are specified now. Thanks for the help.

Chou, E for CS61A is not listed on HKN or ratemyprof. Does anyone have any input on him?

What is HKN?

^ HKN is Eta Kappa Nu, the electrical engineering honor society.

^ AND computer science. =)

That's because GSI's usually teach CS courses during the summer. Evan Chou is listed in HKN, but under the GSI's. You can see his GSI ratings: Eta Kappa Nu, Mu Chapter: Evan Chou
