How can you get into Texas A&M or any Texas public university if your class percentile is below 50%?

Hi, I am a High School Junior, and because of Mental Disability and several “Deaths” in my family, my grades slipped, and now I am screwed for college. During my Sophmore and Junior years, I took all Pre-ap and AP classes, I was also HOSA President, chess club, I went to HOSA area, I have 189 Volunteer hours, and I created an club that raised 500 dollars towards recent Houston flooding. However my rank is lower than 50%, I had obstacles, I also have a lot of extra-curricular activities. Do you’ll think I would be able to get into UTSA, UTD, Texas A&M, or any other good Texas Public University? And if I don’t what should i do to transfer into them?

What does 3rd and 4th quarter mean?

4

3rd quarter = rank in top 75% but not in top 50%
4th quarter = rank below top 75%

If your class rank is in the bottom quarter, you might need to do a year of community college and work hard to get a good GPA. Most Texas CC’s have an articulation agreement with Texas universities that clearly shows what you need to do to transfer.
