im actually interested at taking Pre-medicine as a major in college.but i want to show the colleges that im actually interested at Pre-med.How can i show my passion? i know that just working or volunteering in a hospital is not enough.is there any other way ?

First, premed is not a major, rather it is a group of courses (biology, chem, physics and math) that you need to take to apply to med school. You can major in anything you like, including non-science subjects. Go to the Premed Topics forum and read some of the sticky threads at the top to learn more about premed coursework.

Working or volunteering in a hospital or clinic are great ways to show that you're interested in learning about the medical field. Other ways are by shadowing doctors, volunteering at a Ronald McDonald house for families of sick kids, or anything else that will get you in contact with patients or doctors.

apply to summer science research programs....i really wish i'd known about them when i was a junior. go to the summer programs forum here on CC.
