How clean an erase does it have to be?

So my first SAT I test, I'm a little bit nervous and make like 10 erasures on my answer choices. My erasers couldn't "completely" get rid of my first answer. It was a light grey mark remaining. Will the machine pick that up and mark my answers wrong? I hope it's no since I read in a SAT book that the machine picks up patterns (ie if you fill in by using very dark marks, the machine will only pick that up). Your thoughts? Has anybody been in a situation like I am? I just dont want a very low score and have to have it hand scored because I know I did fairly well.

i brought an eraser i use for drawing to take my sat
it erases really good
maybe we should all start doing that

What's even more ironic is that I lost one of those last week.

anybody??????

Any marks not completely erased will screw up your answer sheet. Sorry to say, but all those answers will be marked completely wrong.

You just failed. Better luck next time.

evil laugh
