<p>My school requires a pretty difficult test to get in and is very competitive, so everyone has at least some interest in academics/various intellectual pursuits. I think because of that, we’re not very cliquey at all. But to the extent that we do have cliques in my grade of 200:</p>
<p>“Popular” kids – these are 15ish kids who’ve known each other since kindergarten and are pretty rich and party together. They’re all smart, though, and they’re friends with other people too.
“Asians” – about 40 Asian and occasionally white kids who are all vaguely friends with each other. Some of them party; some of them don’t.
“Normal” people – probably about 100, all of whom are friends with each other, even if they have their own circles of friends. Some are hipsters, some of the boys are jocks, and a few of the girls are jocks, but friendships don’t really depend on what “type” of person you are, and most people belong to at least two circles. Again, some party and some don’t.

<p>However, each grade is very different, so there are a few intergrade cliques – for example, there are theater kids, but a very wide range of people do theater. There’s also an intergrade clique of hardcore partiers, but they’re smart/get good grades too.</p>

<p>I go to a majority white rich spoiled school.
The few Asians have managed to create a Chinatown… LOL.</p>
<p>It’s not too cliquey at my school. We basically all know eachother somewhat, but then we have our closer small circle of friends?</p>
<p>My school is alright. I guess you can say I’m part of the “normal” ppl. I’m also in the “oreo” group. Which is black ppl who hang with white ppl. There’s like 10 of us “oreos” in my grade haha. But its just a joke, my school doesn’t care about race. Many ppl known each other since we were little but since there’s almost 600 kids in my grade alone, its easy to find our group of friends. Ppl don’t care about cliques but I admit there are the preppy snobs, the “ghetto” kids, weirdos, band nerds, jocks, jocketts (female jocks, that would be me), international kids, pot heads, goths, ect. And suprisingly no bullies, which is good. Ppl just use facebook status to yell their problems about someone…annoying</p>

<p>I wouldn’t say that my school is cliquey. Everyone’s apathetic about including others or new students or branching out; they like their comfort zones.</p>
<p>I’d say my high school is cliquey. There are some notable groups, like: Koreans, lax bros and other athletes, drama kids, band, nerds/geeks, yearbook girls and other future sorority members</p>
