Well I've done a test and got a 760. The problems are way easier than the practice test at my SATII prep class, but then again those test are said to be much harder than the real test. So is the difficulty of Kaplan's test like collegeboard? Also is it even suggested to use kaplan?

i thought kaplan was the best math book (for level 1 and level 2). take the tests in order. the first one is relatively easy (easier than the actual test) and then it gets harder (harder than the actuall test). i don’t know content wise, but i thought the tests were very close in difficulty, if not harder. btw, i got an 800 on level 1 and level 2.

well my sat teacher said to get kaplan but kaplan seems to have a really bad rep for prepping for anything lol
and he said barron has too many misaktes and a lot of the quesitons will never show up on the real test.

the lesser of the two evils: TPR/Peterson’s.
Peterson’s has really great math faculty. I am sure that you will benefit even in AP Calc.

lol that doesnt really answer my question ><

well u answered ur own question didn’t you?
Kaplan is just… Kaplan. It sucks for Math IIC + underestimates a big deal.

I took the Kaplan tests and got high 700s on most of them, but never 800. I got 800 on the real test, however… so in my opinion, Kaplan’s are slightly harder than the real test. But they are still very close.

I just got a 780 on the third Kaplan test. Now, I know that’s a good score, but with the percentile the way it is I am gunning for an 800 (but I won’t retake anything lower than a 750, probs). Does an 800 seem realistic?

Definitely! As I said, I got high 700s on all of Kaplans tests… but I still got an 800 on the real thing. Every test I took my score increased drastically (20-40 points) because the timing piece was my issued… so it made sense that my last test was 780 and my real test improved to 800. Good luck :)
