Yeah, I know this is a really early question, but the thing is I'm a senior in high school now and I've managed to take way too many rigorous courses and I've ended up with an uw GPA of a 3.4 My SAT's we're so hot either 1900 to 2000 on the new SAT's.

So my main question is, If I do well and work my ass of at college, can I transfer to a top tier school like Brown or PENN with a 3.8ish GPA?

I would think that scores like those (I'm not trying to be mean, I'm sorry), will not get you into Brown or Penn from H.S. I think you are correct when you talk about transferring. Which college are you thinking of applying to from H.S.? What type of major?

yeah, my intentions were to transfer lol. sorry if i didnt' mention it in my original post. my target schools right now are University of Pittsburg or Pennstate. By back ups include Drexel, Widener, and Temple.

So if i do well and actually work my freshman year in college and maintain a good gpa at these schools, will I have a decent shot at tranfering to top tier schools?
