How college life is like ? Help...

Do you guys know some movies that reflects how college Is for freshmen ?

I don’t know any movies but the show Greek is absolutely perfect in replicating it.

I can’t think of any. I can definitely say it’s not like Animal House or any other movie like that. Yeah college is super fun but it’s nothing like these movies and TV shows.

e: Haven’t seen Greek but it’s an ABC Family show so I can only assume it’s about as accurate as the TV show Rookie Blue is with regards to police.

College life is different for every freshman.

It really depends on what you want your college experience to be like. If you want to go out and party 24/7 and flunk out of school, there’s an opportunity. If you want to have fun on the weekends, but study hard, there’s an opportunity.

College life can’t really be explained by a TV show or movie. Have you ever seen a Tv show or movie that accurately portrays your life as a high school student?

The show Greek was actually based on the school I went to and was not very much like it, unfortunately. My friend and I joked about how we needed to find the inspiration for Cappie ASAP. God, I only wish that school was like Greek.

Answering this question is tricky without at least knowing the type of school. Freshmen life at MIT or CalTech is probably a bit different than a Big 10 school like Ohio State.

College isn’t any one particular way, and no tv series is going to capture what college is for everyone. For some people Greek is pretty accurate (and I actually liked the show), Undeclared is a good one, for some even Co-Ed Confessionals is accurate (DON’T look that one up on a school computer, if you catch my drift.)

College is whatever you make it to be, not necessarily what you want it to be. You can go out and party all the time, you can stay in and study all the time, you can do what most people do and find a balance somewhere in there. If you shut yourself in your room all day you won’t have friends, and if you party all the time you probably won’t have good grades. Just figure out what you want (easier said than done when you actually have options, huh?) and figure out what you need to do to create that lifestyle.

There used to be a show called ‘undeclared’ but it was in the early 2000s and it was mostly about less social guys trying to get girls at parties and their major was undeclared…idk if its like college since I’m still in high school but it was a funny show…
The last time I saw the show was a couple of months on a channel in the 500s I think it was called IFC and some episodes were on On Demand but I have comcast

You should take a college tour instead of watching tv so you’d actually know what is was like.

No movies are going to accurately portray what college is like. Plus there are so many possible experiences that even if a movie or TV show did show it accurately, it would only be true for a few people.

Im watching “American pie” and this movie Is driving me crazy… I hope I won’t find like that in college Ughh

American Pie is to college what Call of Duty is to war

Isn’t American Pie set when they’re in high school?

Don’t be hating on Rookie Blue, ThisMortal.

I enjoy the show but it’s basically the Gray’s Anatomy of cop shows. And I have never ever ever ever seen a female cop who looks as good as McNally or Peck lol.
