I am back from a 2 week absense and I am scandalized by the fact that nobody has started a thread dedicated to Michigan's impressive Citrus Bowl performance and our legendary coach's last game. We beat the defending national champions (ed by the current Heisman winner) in what was essentially a home game for Florida.

Needless to say, I was very happy to see Carr go out on a winning note. The man was all class throughout. He represented Michigan with so much class and dignity that it will be hard to calculate how valuable he has been to our program and university. Rodriguez has some big shoes to fill, but I am confident that with Carr as a role model (for off-the-field matters off course), he will do great at Michigan.

Anyway, I hope Super Mario returns next year. The things we could do on offense with our new coaching philosophy if we have a guy like Mallett throwing to AA and MM would be phenomenal.

Didn't even think about this, but I went to the game, so the time I would have spent discussing was spent driving through a snowstorm in Kentucky and Ohio. The game was sweet, really impressed with Morgan Trent.

Can't wait til next year where we don't go back to class until the 7th or so, so the rush back to MI doesn't have to be repeated.

why does mich only give students 3 weeks off for break? is summer longer? cuz on the west coast most colleges get 4-5 weeks off (which i actually think is too long lol). just wonderin...
