How common is it to receive letter from admissions asking you to apply, out of the blue?

I could have built a small house with the amount of wasted paper brochures! And most cannot be recycled :frowning:
I wondered how much more resources could have gone to the existing students of these schools if everyone just cut back 25% of their direct marketing materials…oy vey!
