<p>I may very well see why transfers can happen, because, say, one initially wanted to do something (like, say, trading), and, while in business school, the student realized that what he really wanted to do (say, human resources) was a weak spot of the school. Or, for students that still hold jobs while in business school, they had to move for their jobs.</p>
<p>How common is transferring from a MBA program to another, really? I know B-school students really shouldn't plan their business education around transferring, though.</p>
