How common is underaged drinking at your school?

At my school, most people drink. When I say most, I mean, 70%+ of the school population regularly engages in underaged drinking. I personally don't, nor do my closest friends, but outside of the three to four people I talk to regularly, my slightly more distant friends drink.

It seems like its not even reserved to derelicts or the popular crowd. I have a friend/neighbor of mine who is ranked in the top 10 of our class, has worked on Senatorial campaigns, and was class President for two years, and most weekends, she's "wasted" with some of her buddies.

The older you are, the more frequent drinking is among your graduating class. I'm a rising senior, and out of 500 kids, I'd say maybe 60 don't drink.

How common is drinking at your school?

I feel like everyone at my school does it. Even the honors kids do it

I go to a Catholic university so I’m going to say a lot of the people do it but a good amount of people don’t because the university holds campus ministry-sponsored events on Friday nights to encourage people to get away from drinking.

Lots of people, especially upperclassmen, drink. This includes honor students. Most of my closest friends do. I actually want to too, but my mom is really strict and as of right now I can’t think of anyway to get away with it.

Oh and the class president thing means little. The rising senior and junior class presidents both smoke weed here. Yolo

Being an honors student just means you get good grades, doesn’t mean you don’t go out

And drinking is very big in our town considering we’re mainly irish and we seen to be the sterotype and a lot of people who you would expect to smoke weed and drink, including popular people, not so popular people, honors kids, and class presidents

I think people at my school are too busy smoking weed but I’m guessing some of them multitask

I don’t know. I don’t really pay attention. We probably have about as much as average.

A lot of people at my school drink and or smoke weed. :/

It’s everywhere. You’ll be able to find people who don’t drink (even if it’s more common to find people who do) at any campus. If that’s what you’re looking for, it will be there.

Most people.

Pretty rare at my school. However, a lot of upperclassmen smoke weed.

Smoke, Drink, you name it. At graduation, one of my senior friends gave a speech and poked fun at the drinking at our school saying “at the football games some juniors cheered so hard they puked.” It was actually the funniest speech I have ever heard.

Half the upperclassmen guys, and about a quarter of the upperclassmen girls. Freshmen and sophomores are pretty clean (for now).

About half of the school.

I would say about 80%. I was surprised actually. People who I would have never expected to booze up every weekend.

My friends and I don’t drink. Personally, I don’t see the appeal. Just wait a few more years and you can drink legally. A lot of people smoke marijuana too.

~80% drink and ~60% smoke weed. StuCo president showed up high to every meeting this year…

90% of them, I live in a huge party city in south MX

I’m a freshman and I’ve heard the majority of the people in my classes talking about drinking/doing drugs. One time in my Honors Biology class these two girls spent a whole lab period trying to find a place to get drunk that night. I just don’t see the appeal.

Drinking isn’t big; it isn’t talked about that much, but it does happen.

about 15% of students, but drugs are 80%+ of the students.
