<p>@NEPatsGirl Yes. The numbers are declining throughout Maine because it has the oldest population in the country. That is why they are the only ones in New England who give considerable merit aid. They need smart young students. Additionally, according to aunt who works there, there was a growth/investment period in which they expected higher numbers of students but instead a portion choose to go to community colleges for the first two years to save money. Now they are streamlining and removing older buildings which are too expensive to maintain or update. The rest of New England really charges too much but I guess they can unfortunately.</p>
