How Competitive is AE&M????

<p>How competitive is it really to get into the program....is it an advantage to be a new york state resident because the school is funded by the state. i was rejected from yale and this is my second choice.</p>

<p>only 14% are accepted (last yr) and recruited athletes are put in it…it’s rly all about “fit”</p>

<p>Only about 100 freshmen matriculate into the program. Gossipgirl is correct about the % admit rate. Some recruited athletes are in the program, but it’s not the majority by any means. It’s become an urban legend at this point! NY State Residents used to receive preference, but not for many years.
