How competitive is CAS? How is the CAS admission rate compare to the other undergrad school at Penn and the Penn general ED rate?
@Angelababy30 no one knows 100% but most people would say that Wharton and SEAS are slightly more competitive, but marginally so. There is no huge difference though nowadays.
I think the best strategy is to think about which school fits best your academic and professional interests, not which is more or less competitive to get in. A person with a profile that screams SEAS or Wharton who applies to CAS because they think they ll have slightly better chances, will very likely get rejected because of the mismatch between their profile and the school.
@Penn95 I applied ED and want to know if the fact that I go to a public high school in Philadelphia (Central High School) help with my chance of getting admitted?
