How Competitive is EDII??

How likely to gain admission in EDII? 3.8 GPA, 32 ACT, 6AP classes, some leadership and varsity sports.

I also applied EDII and am curious for the answer to this. I have a 4.4 GPA and a 2250 SAT and 9AP classes (3 in previous years, 6 this year) with leadership and arts activities

chances?

you’d both have a solid shot in regular admission, which means that you have a very good shot at ED, which is considerably less selective.

thanks for the chancing
i was accepted EDII, i’m very excited!

Does anyone have any experience or insight into Davidson College- in particular their women’s swim team? My questions are: What types of times does someone need to have to be recruited on the team? Be considered for a scholarship? What grades, SAT’s etc? How good is the team? The Coach, etc… All the "usual " questions

If it helps, I’m trying to see if it’s realistic for her to go to school/swim there as Davidson is “D1”:

My daughter is a 3.9+ student (currently a HS Sophomore)
She is looking for a small, top quality college (preferably where it’s warm, but no farther then Virginia or N. Carolina or S.Carolina) - where she can major in pre-med & swim at a decently competitive D1 school.

In High School, so far:

Made all conference & all state both freshmen and soph years
Made YMCA Nationals - both short and long course- both freshmen and soph years
Made Eastern Zones (3 times); YMCA Regionals (multiples times)
Has 3 HS swim records ( 1 as an individual and 2 for relays)
USSS swimmer in all big meets
Ranked Top 16 in CT (Backstroke)
She is a sophomore - will be 16 this year
