How competitive is it to get into Goizuetta?

Hi,

I understand that ND Goizuetta accepts only rising sophomores. But how competitive is it to get in? I'm fairly sure that there's not many spots to accomodate all applicants. Is there certain GPA (freshman) that basically guarantees you a spot in the program? or is it going to be another application process all over again?

Thanks ^^

OOPS My bad!! It should be ND Mendoza. Got confused w/ Emory biz school.

You should definitely change the name of your thread - most people won’t even look at it because they won’t know what you are referring to in regards to your question.

Unlike some state schools that try to restrict the number of business students, and therefore make their schools appear stronger, Notre Dame takes any student into the business school. No internal applications, which is convenient. And if you change your mind later you only have to fill out one form to transfer to Arts & Letters.

I wish I could change the name of the thread, but I don’t know how.
But if what bpayne1 is saying is correct, then wow, I’m now really leaning towards ND. Thanks for the input!!

If anyone else has any comment, I’ll really appreciate it.

bpayne1 is correct. As long as you take Microeconomics your freshman year, you’re all set for Mendoza. If you decide to change your intended college from something else to Mendoza your first year, all you have to do is fill out a form (essentially what college you are switching to and why) and that’s it.
