<p>Can anyone tell me how competitive Albany is, I have a 81 GPA and a 1000 SAT score (500 Math, 500 Critical Reading). I have been researching it on sites like college-board and cappex but I would love to hear from a current student or parent.</p>
<p>Just so you know. I applied early Action 84 GPA 1170/1730 SAT and had legacy there and was deffered! Also had some decent EC’s so right now it seems to be a high reach for you but apply anyway. You miss 100% of the shots you dont take.</p>
<p>Your low GPA might make it a little challenging to get in.</p>
<p>UAlbany is pretty competitive, average gpa is like a 92 and sat is like in the mid 1700’s. but just apply i got in with a 85 gpa and a 1110 sat, so your not far off :)</p>

i got in with a 3.34 gpa and an 1850 sat score and got into their business school…</p>
