<p>I’m submitting my UC app tonight so I’d appreciate it if someone could give me a quick response. I’m putting engineering down as my first choice major but I know that competition is going to be extremely tough and I’m not confident that I’ll be able to make it through. However, I’m planning on putting my alternate major down as “Undeclared/Exploratory” in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Science. Is this major competitive as well and would there be no point in placing it down as my alternate? The only reason why it’s my alternate is because I want to have a 2nd option major that’s easy to get into in case I get rejected from engineering. Thanks for your replies! :)</p>
