<p>nd110491, millions don’t apply. Last year, there were rumors all the way up to 60,000. D was told when she called them one time (she did get the scholarship) that there were approximately 13,000 applicants. Yes, 1000 do receive it, I’m still not sure if there were 250 from each AA, asian, hispanic and Native American. Your brief listing of your stats definately looks like you would be in the running for it. The deadline is coming up fast, and it is a quite extensive application. There is a poster on here who is also a GMS who helped the CC applicants last year. His screen name is Proud Husky, and he is the one to answer all of your questions. Good Luck, it is worth it.</p>
