How Conservative is Princeton

Here are some recent poll resulted conducted on different campuses in the Ivy League. The polls were taken at different times using different methodologies and all have a margin of error so small differences are meaningless. A quick review of these will show that there isn’t much difference among the campus political cultures. All lean toward the liberal side.

Columbia

Apparently no student poll was conducted but Columbia, along with Brown has traditionally been seen as the most liberal of the Ivies.

Wow, thanks for that! I'm surprised at the large number of Repubs (heh, "large") at Harv, considering its reputation. I'd reckon the hypothetical Columbia poll would mirror Brown, just given their similarities stat-wise. And I'd think Dartmouth would be rather like Princeton's, only with slightly more Republicans. 20-25% Repub, maybe? It seemed heavily liberal when I was there, but I definitely ran into a few conservatives and I remember them being the first I'd seen on any Ivy campus, hah. :)
