I positively LOATHE science and am not very good at it, but I've been told that it's a major detriment to not submit at least one science subject test and at least one math. I'm dead set on majoring in business and finance, so I don't really see how the science part is relevant! Obligatorily, I'm planning on taking the bio test on saturday, but honestly: is it THAT terrible to not submit a science subject test?

(Sorry if I ranted...but I'm very anxious b/c I KNOW I'm not going to do well on this test :( )

Depending on what colleges you want to attend or are considering, some SAT iis in math and at least one science are needed, but most of the time, it's not mandatory.

Unless the school you are applying to states that a science SAT II is required, it's not. The biggest caveat is to take 2 tests in different subject areas. For example, you should not submit World History and US History as two tests. But those different subject areas can be lit and history, or math and foreign language or any other similar combination. A science SAT II, for someone who is clearly not a science kid, is not necessary.

Unless you are planning on majoring in either math, science, or engineering (which I doubt from your post), it is usually not necessary to take a science exam. If the schools you are considering "suggest" a science test, I would recommend either biology test (e or m) as they contain the most qualitative material of the three offered test areas.
