How culturally comfortable would BC be for a Southern Protestant?

Would he feel like a fish out of water there?

If you are asking "How comfortable would a Southern Protestant feel at a Catholic school lIke BC?", the answer is: If BC was a hard-core Catholic school, it may be an issue. BC is not very Catholic . It's Jesuit, which as any Catholic can tell you, is kind of the hippy wing of the Catholic faith. So, as far as acceptance of other foms of religion, not an issue at BC. Having said that, if you (or your S/D) is seriously conservative or a serious teatotaller, be aware that BC is alot more like any other big-sports drinking college, so keep that in mind.

You should get along fine, whether you are conservative or liberal, there are a good number of both on campus. I am an agnostic who has been living with Catholics over the past four years, and of course we talk about our faith (or lack thereof) and it is always a respectable conversation.

Nice - thanks!
