I am a first semester senior and I am very worried about my coming mid year report that is required for many of the top private universities I am applying to, namely Carnegie Mellon. I messed up beginning of the year and I am going to end the semester with two B’s, AP Lang and AP AB Calculus. As an intended economics major in all my colleges, how detrimental is this? Do I still have a chance? How important are midyear reports? I have a 2200 and an overall A-G GPA of 4.4 and unweighted GPA of 3.89. The lowest unweighted GPA I have gotten so far in my high school career is a 3.8, only one B.
It doesn’t sound as if you should be too concerned. Take a deep breath and relax.
