I want to major in electrical engineering, and i know i can get an 800 on the SAT 2 mathIIc, but i looked at the physics sat 2 and i realy doubt i could get 700+ on it.

if i want to major in electrical engineering, is it IMPORTANT that i get 700+ on physics sat 2? or should i just stick with my 690 in chem? i doubt i can get 700+....most likely 600+...

just study it over the summer; you have plenty of time. And all I know is that the elect. engineering program @ UCSD like all engineering majors @ UCSD is COMPETITIVE to get into, so it’s in ur best interest that u get the highest SAT scores possible.

Well I don’t think UCSD cares about what type of SAT IIs you take, because I applied for Computer Engineering with a 740 on the Chem SAT II, with no Physics SAT II (however, my highest SAT IIs were Chinese 800 and Math II 780).
If you are better at Chem, I wouldn’t see any reason not to retake, but truth is, you probably need to be good in Physics. :D
