<p>No one can claim to understand admissions unless you’re an adcom, but congratulations, though I don’t really see the point of this thread.</p>

<p>I know, its weird. UCLA acceptance rates at our high school (bay area) jumped nearly 10% to around 40% this year, which is abnormally high. I think a few of the admits might have similar stats so don’t count yourself as an outlier.</p>
